Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel Re-launch website Finally Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel has a redesigned website that now accurately reflects the hotel. It includes additional information about the hotel and photography improved, with video. The site will be changed regularly with new offers, promotions and updates that are made to the hotel. Hopefully that information will be added in the near future and would be happy to be guided by the client.
Lindeth Fell is one of the most spectacular hotels in Windermere and was built in 1909 primarily as a private residence. It was then converted by the current owners, the Kennedy family in the 1970s and was opened to visitors since. Of course, the hotel has changed drastically over the years to meet the needs of customers with high expectations and the family and their dedicated team are trying to accomplish every day.
There are many hotels in Bowness, but the good thing about it is Lindeth Fell is a simple but professional 14-room hotel where guests can enjoy views of Lake Windermere the Coniston Mountain range, point highlight being the Old Man of Coniston ~ 2635 feet. The hotel is set in a magical tranquility, near the towns of Bowness and Windermere, with a magnificent view of Thomas Mawson designed seven acres of gardens to Lake Windermere itself.
There are many hotels in Windermere, however, as the Good Hotel Guide awards, Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel has many awards including a three-star gold palm of VisitBritain and 10/10 for service inspector Sunday Times. He also received English Country Hotel of the Year 2009 by the Good Hotel Guide, Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel is located just one mile from bustling Windermere Bowness, on the hills overlooking Lake Windermere and the Coniston Fells.
The Windermere Hotel is located in an area that is packed with activities to interest all visitors. The station is nearby and while it is possible to walk to Bowness, many guests simply hop in a taxi or a bus for the trip to the lake. There is a cable-car to explore on the western shores of the lake, including the village of Far Sawrey. Customers are often happy to spend a day in Bowness, a boat trip on the lake, shopping or enjoy the local attractions such as Beatrix Potter attraction or Steamboat Museum. There are art galleries galore and there's even a pitch and putt around the lake.
