What is the best way to remove surface scratches from a wooden table w finishing o /? (The wax will not do) I have a beautiful wooden table dining room which has a small surface scratches (some cons list). I do not want the expense at the moment to finish. I tried Weiman furniture cream, but it does not seem to help some scratches. All tested solutions out there? Thank you for your help!
Try Howards Restor-A-Finish. Just drop it and then wipe the Great Stuff.I use all the time on my furniture. It can be purchased at Lowe's or any store.Check material on this site:

let the water stand on the scratches it will raise the grain, then use steel wool to buff the scratches
My stepfather Refinishes wood furniture for a living. It buys things like wood called Re New. It's like a cream based like substance. And let me tell you, it really makes the wood look new! But one thing well. It is based on Texas and the manufacture does sell by the case.
Old English Oil of dark wood and bright, with a stain in which actually decreases the appearance of scratches. It is also stain sticks, although I do not know who makes them.
crayolas warm, polished to a shine
Try a shoe polish close correspondence.
