Wedding Tissue Paper

Wedding Tissue PaperWhat is the point of tissue paper in the wedding invitations?

I just received a wedding invitation from a friend and there was tissue paper with the RSVP. Am I supposed to send that back with the RSVP?

It's so the envelopes are addressed, the ink wedding announcement does not transfer on the cover of the invitation. Everyone wants things to stay clean and tidy. Just keep the tissues in the wedding announcement, or throw .... is for you.

The point of the fabric is to keep the letter raised or offset printing press paste or streaks.
No, you do not send the cloth back.

when they started printing invitations, novelty cards were printed with an ink that stays wet for a while, so they put the tissue on top so you do not spread on the other side of the invite. But now with the new technology of printing inks are capable of drying quickly so that the fabric does'nt really serve a purpose except to look like a fancy old maps.
do not mail it back, you can simply throw it away or keep it in inviting them to an album.

-not just for its wording rubbed off on the other side of this document

to prevent ink smudges

The fabric is to prevent the ink from sticking to the invitation envelope.

It is to protect "sensitive" print. A strange custom which has outlived its usefulness. Trash it.

It's just a tradition that has endured over the years.

A sheet of tissue was placed on writing to prevent ink from smudging. Therefore, tissue is often included in wedding invitations today. Although smear the ink is more, the tradition remains.

I do not think so ..

No, the tissue is where you start to cry when you open the invitation and read it. In this way, the sender of the invitation is recognition of the emotional aspects of wedding and knows that many a parent, a grandmother or great-aunt, will shed a tear while reading the invitation, thinking their grandchildren or niece as a little girl, and now all grown and married. It is sent as a sign of courtesy to the reader who will probably get a lot of emotion. If you are not someone who cries a lot, you might as well put it in the bathroom with toilet paper to others for the next time you need to dry yourself.

men simply do not appreciate the beautiful things * tears * lol no, actually it is intended to prevent ink from smudging

no ... it does not work then the lettering stick to one of the other documents

It is supposed to be there because when you go to a wedding, you scream if they send tissue for you for the big day.

You can throw the tissue paper. The objective is to maintain the fabric printing invitations barb while he is in the mail. Usually, only formal (read: Expensive) invitations come with the fabric.

Just throw the tissue away, and mail the RSVP card by itself in the envelope provided. (It is also great if you want to include a piece of paper where you wrote your well-wishes or simply say that you look forward to the event, or that you're sorry you miss it, with the RSVP.)

N The tissue is purely for decoration. It is semi-opacity is a traditional focus for invitations elegant.

To RSVP, the best thing to do is follow the instructions by RSVP itself. If it says "include in your RSVP and then do it. If it gives you a phone number, dial the phone number. Otherwise, I would send my own RSPV.
(Ie a letter of congratulations card, etc.)

No, I know for sure that you do not return. I am not married so that is a guess, but I think it's just for decoration. Or perhaps while the ink on the invitation RSVP card does not stick together??? Good question!

I always wondered t.
