What is the cheapest way to keep clean travertine tile? Is there a bright sealant safe? I spent almost $ 400 on the tape STONETECH 2200 sq. foot house, but he simply absorbs, and leaves no shine. Suggestions?
The best way to keep all tile cleaner, in my opinion is the acid wash. By using a mixture of sulfamic acid / water. When you buy the cartridge acid granules instructions show you how to acid / water. Do not worry, this acid is very mild, it is safe to work with, without gloves. Not only that, but it is very inexpensive. I installed tile for seven years now and so I clean my floors clean at home. I also have a marble floor, but unlike you I do not like a high gloss. This works very well for me, I do not like hunters. Is acid also remove excess grout? My tile guy did not clean and I was gently scraping with a putty knife, but there are a lot of land here. Report Abuse
Depends on STONETECH sealer you used. Firstly, the travertine is a natural stone, unless you use STONETECH "paint sealer on it, you will not get a splinter. Their lacquer sealer leaves a brilliant shine. However, if you use it in an area with heavy traffic, you will be constantly reapply. If you want the bright glow of all time, you need to replace the travertine with either a ceramic or porcelain tile that looks like granite or marble. Then there is the slip factor to take into account with the high gloss shine. It takes into account if all of your tiles on the floor, judging by the amount of square feet that you listed.
