LCD TV question? I just bought a 42 "LCD TV
IVd she owned for about a week and I just called my my LCD TV manufacturers and asked them if watchingcertain shows a ratio 4:3 (those with gray or black borders on theright and left side of the screen) can cause burns to the image borders THESO calls.
They said he can in the long term.
Someshows are filmed this way and if you stretch them to 16:9, they lookawful. The other day when I talked to them they told me that if bordersare "gray" and not "black" ... this means that this part of the tv isstill active and will not burn in.
But today is a different story.Do one of these people know what they're talking about?. What is the truth?.
Watch if you have an LCD TV of your fine. LCD never, never, never (not) have retained an image (burn-in).
Plasma TV is that problems with burn-in.
