Inspirational ... you do your part? My good friend wrote this. Do you do your part as America?
Tonight, history was made. In more ways than one. I must say I am proud of the decision of the Americas, and those who were wary of choosing our new president, or maybe didn't vote for him at all, I hope the next four years, you will be enlightened .
Now, let me say a few words. Maybe some suggestions or ideas.
Ponderisms perhaps.
A new man was elected to lead our country in the future. Note, the words that represent something simple. I believe it is our duty as Americans, as human beings, not to sit on our butts and wait for the "change" to occur. While I believe that Barack Obama will make a great leader, he must be great disciples.
We have an obligation as human beings to practice ... humanity.
Hmmm, whodathunk?
It is time we stop judging, we stop complaining, and we start simple, we begin with peace.
We fell so far, not only because of the Bush administration, or because of Wall Street, ourselves, have failed compassion. We have forgotten to get us out of our own shoes and put them in someone elses for a while.
I say we, because we are all guilty. myself. Instead of being sad that his mac and cheese again, I must remind myself that I am lucky to have nothing at all. Am blessed to have a healthy family, nature and support of parents, a roof over my head etc. etc.
Reach out to someone, really reach out and open your mind and your heart to those around you.
As cheesy as it sounds, sharing a smile to someone, do not really make a difference, it starts a cycle. And if we can keep a series of lectures and grow from there, theres change.
Perhaps an example,
I lost a good friend. And I was wrong, and I was angry. I was very stressed and irritated, just having a horrible couple of weeks. At the time, I was hosting because of my back and a girl came in and I literally felt her pain, there was something wrong. She tried to hide his face, and, of course, when I asked him how his day was, she tried to say he was handsome, which is something we all do, George Carlin said.
At this moment I do not quite something out of the ordinary for me, but I gave her a hug. And when we hugged, I felt his shoulders crumble a little, and the tight embrace. I shed some positive energy I had left in me in this embrace. She didn't look at me like I was crazy, she didn't say "No, Id rather not hug the host of madness at Olive Garden.
"She said simply:" Yes, I need a hug "
As it is located. She was not beautiful, his best friend committed suicide the day before.
Now, I'm not saying that everyone go and kiss around the block, not everyone likes cuddles. but I say that if we can open our eyes to those around us, good can happen.
So I challenge you, to reciprocate. I challenge you to make this country a better place to live.
I mean what's it going to hurt if you take a walk and get one of those millions of grocery bags you have stored in a bag and pick up trash along the road.
You're a better person for love. God bless you and hugs your way.
Edit: Wow. Such a beautiful question and some people show hatred. What a shame.
Obama will destroy what remains of our economy.
I look forward to the morally superior people who voted early (unlike me lazy) finally join the human race and restore the world.
May God bless you Rae for this idea, I needed it.
The great disciples I read about tend to blow up the same a.
