What type of containers should I use to Ball Freezer Jam's No Cook fruit pectin? I bought a pack of Ball Freezer Jam No-Cook fruit pectin. Now I can not find the plastic freezer jars that are recommended for use in any of our local stores. Can I use regular plastic containers or plastic containers with screw on the lid?
For future use, I will order plastic pots for freezing of the Amazon, but for now, I have some strawberries I need to use before they go bad. No time to wait on shipping.
Suggestions?
A container with a tight fitting lid works. I use 1 cup jars jelly glass.
You do not need anything special other than a freezer containing plastic safer. I think the use and reuse Ziploc freezer is say ok. Otherwise, where supplies are usually sold canned freezer safe containers designed for freezer jams, vegetables, etc.
I made the jam into freezer jam jars glass many times without any problem. Leave a little space above the expansion. Even empty yogurt containers work well.
