Pet Odor

My dog had a bladder infection ... I took a glance at several times a day and it is always urinated on the carpet! Unfortunately now the carpet has a slight odor odor pet! I tried many cleaners enzymatic pet .... nothing has worked yet ...... This is not a strong smell, but still sensitive!

Things you'll need:

Black-bulb
Pet-odor neutralizer powder with enzymes
Empty
machine to pump water from carpet cleaning or carpet-shampoo


Step 1
Always clean up after pet as quickly and as completely as possible.

Step2
Identify areas of your carpet smelling. If you do not know where they are, darken the room and light a bulb black light to highlight any dried accident spots.

Step3
From deep clean problem areas using a hoist to water carpet cleaning machine or a carpet shampoo-and cold water only - no chemicals or cleaners. (To rent or buy one of these machines, look under "Carpet and Rug Equipment and Supplies" or a similar position in yellow pages.)

Step 4
Sprinkle an enzyme-containing powder pet odor-neutralizing (available in pet stores or your veterinarian's office) on the affected areas. Pet odor-neutralizing powders contain live bacteria and enzymes that digest proteins that cause odor and bacteria, permanently removing it from the deepest fibers of your carpet. These products also contain a mild cleanser that can help eliminate the discoloration. Alternatively, you can use borax powder or baking soda, but they are less effective in eliminating stubborn odors.

Step 5
Let stand for 8 hours.

Step 6
Vacuum the treated areas. Let stand for 24 hours.

Step7
If odor persists after you have treated the carpet with an odor neutralizing enzyme, repeat as necessary to eliminate odors.

Step8
Understand that in severe cases where the dirt has occurred for a prolonged period of time, you may need to replace the padding.

Step9
If your pet continues to eliminate in inappropriate places, to treat the underlying cause.

Tips

Avoid using household cleaners, ammonia and vinegar on the urine stains. The strong smell may attract your pet to the scene to cover the cloth with its own solid perfume.

Steam cleaning carpet stained with urine can set stains and odors by bonding the protein into the fibers.

Just go through - we shampoo the carpets with a carpet cleaner, using the shampoo full strength, not half water, half shampoo. Smell still there. Then use a detergent (a cap), vinegar and water (half and half). This cleaned the carpet twice a day, used between the two fan to dry for one week. Can you remove the carpet outside, if so, return the carpet and treat the underside too. We have tried many other suggestions, no work, but that. Saved my carpet! Hope your dog is better!

Have you tried the arm and hammer and nail DEP ordor urine. I love this stuff I used all the time when we were house training of our two little ones who kept sneaking into my room and go on my carpet. Spray the stain until the spray is soacked Alway down into the stuffing and let sit for about 10 min, then with a towel or lots of old paper towels Soak up the spray. You can also try to rent a steam cleaning carpets. The city I live in California where the machines are available in supermarkets or Walmart, they cost about $ 20-25 for 24 hours I think. I think its worth trying it can be expensive to replace the carpet or a professional come in. Good luck!
