Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser

Oil Eater Cleaner DegreaserHow to remove old oil stains deep in the garage floor?

We bought a house 10 years with horrible parking. It seems that the former owners poured oil on the floor and let it soak into the concrete. We have large (3'x8 ') areas of these types of stains. We tried the following without success: 1) Kruder Powerwashing with Cutter Degreaser 2) Scrub the hands with solvent, petroleum oil Eaters degreaser 3) Clean with 1 part muriatic acid, 3 parts water, scrub and rinse. After cleaning hydrochloric acid, things were good for about a day. Then, the oil deep into the concrete migrated up again, if the spots look like they did before. I then tried 4) Pour n 'Restore (cost a fortune, did nothing), and 5) Oil Eater this time cast in full force, well-cleaned, covered with plastic and let sit for 90 minutes, then poured hot water on this point, although cleaned again, and cleaned under pressure / rinsing. Again, looked good for about a day and then return to normal. We want to epoxy, so that the oil has been released!

Why not paint? Apart from replacing all together - Looks like you've done everything possible ....

Or it Astro Turf

I guess that at least one of the things you tried contains TSP (trisodium phosphate)?

If so, and even that does not work, you'll probably have to jackhammer the floor to remove the stained concrete and pour a new floor.

I agree paint like the only thing left to do! Astro turf is great too. We have ours.
