Looking for an opportunity skiing cheap and trying to avoid Cancun. Anything between Playa del Carmen and Muyil?

I've been to all three. Never seen anyone water skiing, it is the ocean.
Snorkeling
scuba diving
sail
Cancun, the water is too Ruff
Purity Morel is a sleepy little town, you could probably hire someone there if they have a ship fast enough .. beautiful coral there
Adventuras Puerto is a real beach in Nice, they make a lot of fishing trips
All these elements are on the road very few miles apart.
Taxis are cheap or you can rent a car.
You can drive from Cancun to Tulum a couple of hours.
Have fun and be sure Adventuras experience and Cenotes

Playa is often more expensive than Cancun. but, they have everything a tourist magnet water could want, but do not think you will find cheap.
coz Tulum or are less likely to find it, but every year things change.
Snorkeling is very popular there because of the reefs that prevented him from playing with boats.

We were both three Yucatan. We have not seen anyone on water skis or water skiing is announced in one of the places we stayed. All the boats I have seen done by sail, divers or people fishing. You can try the docancun.com website or simply type cancun.com.
