I have a low milk supply, and my son can be very demanding on food, so what can bring my milk supply back up? I am breastfeeding my son. Unfortunately, my milk production has been extremely low. It is very demanding on food, especially during the night. Is there something I can do to bring my milk supply back up? Something that will not affect my son.
Feed on demand, if he wants. Even if it's 2:36 ET he just ate 20 minutes ago.
Do not complete by any other formula, which will only decrease your offer. If your offer is still low, the pump between feedings for several days, and be sure to drink plenty of fluids. This should increase your bid.
You do not say how old your child. Also, how do you know your supply is low? Does it have enough diapers? If you think it's because he wants to nurse all the time, it's normal. If your son is less than six weeks, you will help develop the offer for him. While it is more than six weeks, it could be a growth spurt, nursing comfort, or an illness coming on the origin of constant nursing. Fenugreek help boost your diet, but whether you have really low supply and the reasons behind it.
I had problems with my diet or too. Yes like everyone says is true, but I think you just know if your offer is low. People who do not question just do not get it or understand that you just know. The lactation consultant told me to take the feenugreek and blessed thistle and baker's yeast. Take 3 tablets 3 times a day and drink at least 1 gallon of water, if not more. I did all this from the moment my daughter was 2 weeks and usually drank 2 liters of water. It helped, I would say that doubled or tripled my diet. Now she is 3 months and I'm back at work and I have thyroid problems and pumping is not going well. My supply dropped so low that I had to stop because it was not enough milk. I think that using herbs ... Good luck to you!
These are excellent suggestions. , I agree with the person above me. There are many people out there who do not "get" low milk supply, unless they have experienced themselves.
Keep food and pumping as much as possible. You do not want to go more than three hours without one or the other. During the night, make sure to pump or feed every 3-4 hours.
You may want to really look at a tea drinking herbal breastfeeding or taking capsules of herbs. Personally, I used Breast, and he did great things in my breast milk production. You can order online at http://www.breastea.com
Hang in there. You may have to try different things to increase your milk production, but where there is a will there is a way!
It will be difficult to tell if your offer is low. It may be going through a growth spurt and needing more. So yes just keep going, your body will do what it needs, it is usually just a few days back. You can also take fenugreek herb for help. It is safe for nursing and can help you. eat a good diet and rest too! Stress and poor diet can lower milk production.
How do you know if your milk supply is low? You know babies go through growth sperti two weeks to six weeks and so forth. Thus, his temperature normal for your breasts feel soft and not full F, nurse on demand, as it will bring your milk back its because your baby needs more and more you care the most milk you will produce. So do not give up, and the nurse and a nurse! GL
If your baby is having enough wet diapers then your milk supply is good, your baby is hungry and probably just about to grow like a weed. If you do not have enough diapers, I would call your pediatrician. milk tea is delicious, so it can not hurt.
Spend more time caring for him. Finally, the application will br.
