Led Halogen

I know that LED flashlights are pretty crappy. I heard that flashlights and flashlights Halogen Krypton are substantially the same and produce the same intensity and scope. Is this true? Does anybody have any first hand experience?

I assure you, if you have a good LED flashlight, it will be brighter than a similar model with a halogen bulb krypton /. I will never buy another flashlight that is not LED. LED is far superior, a better life (better tone generally), and they are brilliant with less artifacts.

LED flashlights with multiple small leds garbage. A good LED flashlight CREE feature a normal great power, or another brand.

I recommend if you like AA / AAA you look in Icon, Fenix. If you want C or DI suggest you look ... Maglite and is the only major manufacturer to use D or C CR123 If you want high quality, I suggest you look in Surefire, Fenix, Inova, among many others. If you want CR2 small, you do not have much choice but Muysondt is good, but expensive.

Discover some light on this site, they have all kinds of flashlights, with all different types of bulbs. They carry many major brands. I bought my Muyshondt Aeon of them, and they were very easy to treat.

Mike, I have hands on experience. All the lights are good, depending on what they're used for.LEDs give a whiter light and good light on things near you. Incandescent light bulbs shining over a pale yellow and may feature things further. Streamlight I recommend for all uses! Flag

Mike, what do you want to use your light for? Use in general? Camping? Extreme Caving? Spotlight on wildlife?
Will you be using light most objects near, far, or both?
What is most important, the cost of replacement batteries and performance and reliability? Flag

I have a LED flashlight and use it every day at work and would not go back to a mini mag lite with a light bulb. (I upgraded mine with an LED) Not entirely clear, but your battery lasts. and the bulb burning.

Krypton is a brighter light. Power uses more energy.
I have an LED flashlight. 9 LED's. It is bright enough for my work electricial.
