Advice on household bulbs LED - general information, and where to buy? I have CFL in most appliances in my house and I'm pretty happy. However, for some uses of "high" rooms, we are considering getting some LED bulbs for energy efficiency even more.
Please answer as many questions as you know :-)
+ What is a reputable store that sells LED bulbs? Online is good, but I prefer not to buy off eBay or similar. Do you know of any stores that sell LED bulbs, where I could go and look at the physical packets? (I live in the United States.)
+ Is there Dimmable LED bulbs available? 3-way LED bulbs? Projector / LED bulbs outside?
+ In your experience, how "natural" light is a LED bulb?
Oh man, I got answers for you ....
I work for a company that has these bulbs, two years ahead of everyone at this point, so do not hesitate to contact us at the address below and see what we have to offer.
Dimming does not work very well on the LED, as it degrades the lifetime of the LED itself, not the actual change, but the physical act of concealment, so if you go to attach a dimmer light, try to leave it in a stable position, rather than allowing anyone to cheer or Sun often. Until now, no 3 LED bulbs, but working on it.
Some of these fires are good for outdoor use because they are unbreakable and water resistant, does not create heat, and work well under extreme conditions such as temperatures and weather. It's always a good idea, however, to protect your lighting, if possible.
In my experience, the intensity of light created by these LED bulbs is sufficient for each task or ambient lighting, but it does not feel natural ... yet! You can always put a diffuser on her salmon-colored, but which would increase the color and create a more natural effect. We are also working on this idea!
Notes to Biomedking:
"LEDs are not yet Dimmable ..." Not true ... you can either lower the voltage, for example from a 9V to 12V, and that decreases the brightness, or you can attach a dimmer to them actually doing the same thing ... is the physical act of concealment, however, that degrades the mechanism of the LED, so try not to make too often ... let them be dimmed or only occasionally lighten or IMGs!
"LED does not throw light as a light bulb" ... This has been true so far, but we have a broad spectrum light box that illuminates a real 10 'x 10' space ... and the rest of your comments used to be true, too, but there have been recent technological advances that make them wrong so ...

A company called C Crane sell a nice variety of LED line.
LED bulbs are not dimmable yet.
LED bulbs have a bluish tint to the eye. LED does not throw light as ordinary bulbs. LED can appear very bright to the eye, but will not be a large area. You can experiment with an LED flashlight. At the end of the torch light is very bright, but just a few meters of the light is disproportionately low. Led an angle of 22 degrees beam so again.
