How to get ink stains on clothes and walls of my dryer? DH washed clothes with a pen in my pocket. I thought the ink stains in the dryer have been drained, but when I put another load, the blood red ink, too. I need to know how to get ink on clothing and especially the dryer so you do not keep clothes ruined! (When I left home that morning, I put the clothes back to soak in the washer with Tide and Borax and turned the dryer on (empty) for so long and hot as it goes.)
I had this same thing happened to me. The man you just want to cry when you open the dryer door and see everything on ink! The only thing I used that got the most ink was bought I Greese Lightin (you can get it at Wal-Mart) and then I sprayed on clothing stained with ink let them sit overnight, then wash in the morning and the ink has disappeared. With the dryer I have the same thing and it helped, but I also used a combo of everything under the sink (perhaps dangerous thinkin back on it) and lots of elbow greese and well now. Good luck
someone recommended paint and lacquer it really worked, we tried everything and it was the only thing he took off completely Flag
hairspray on the spot using the dryer to dissolve, then wipe the ink. This also works on clothes to a lesser extent. Put a paper towel behind the clothing so that the ink will not dissolve the remaining material. Then soak the stain thoroughly and blot the stain with another towel.
Do not use anything flammable in the dryer as a fixative or acetone. Call the manufactuer and see what they recommend.
REMOVER nail polish.
I used this filter called "Awesome" in a set of dried ink stain. They are the most dollar stores. for a dollar. A friend of mine uses it in his business. She cleaning swears by it! I would not have believed it if I had not seen it work for me. Where can you find something that works so well for so cheap? I know it is a cleaning graffiti on the market, too, but it costs much more than dollar.Good Luck!
Hairspray .... go directly to the ink stain. Rub it with a toothbrush, a new application as needed. I'm sure it will work equally well inside your dryer .... direstly just spray the ink stain and wipe with a damp cloth before the paint has a chance to dry. Hope this helps!
Magic Eraser for the interior of the dryer. I did it myself and another brand for clothing. Good luck
