Household Washing Soda

As a household cleaner, you can use one or the other.

There is a very important difference between the two, baking soda, as its name implies, used for baking, and is not harmful to ingest (in small quantities), but soda is very poor for you to ingest.

Both baking soda and washing soda can be used for many types of household. soda found in the alley cleaning your groceries, baking soda is in the cooking aisle (most likely near things like sugar, baking chocolate, etc.).

Arm & Hammer also baking soda, but you can find generic versions of baking soda together, and you might as well buy the cheaper everything is, because it's the same thing. Here is some info on the brand of baking soda

Make sure you do not confuse baking soda with baking powder, which is an ingredient in cooking different.

You can use both products for cleaning, but they are not the same, and therefore will not give you the same cleaning results. It depends on what you clean with what is more appropriate to use. Flag
