House Plans With Photos10 Questions to Ask before you buy your house plan Designer

So you bought your house and you lot are ready to plan the perfect house, but you do not know where to start. There are important questions you should ask your designer to plan before buying the house, and I can help you. I have been developing custom home plans and stock house plans for 20 years, I compiled a list of questions you should ask your designer home before buying.

1. How long have you been designing house plans? The greatest experience of your house plan designer, the more detailed its plans are likely to be. stock house plans experience is also important, as with all competitions for the show house plan online, there are many house designers out there with little or no experience.

2. Do you design custom home plans? You think you've found the perfect house plan, but you want to do some "adjustments", and before you know it, your bill of review is 2-3 times the cost of the original plan of the house. A good designer to recognize the fine line between designing a house plan customized for you and spend time on revising a stock house plan.

3. Can I return my plane home if I decide not to build? Most stock purchase plans online brokers have a "all sales final" policy, be sure to check it before clicking the "Buy" button. 4. Why can not I return my house plan? Because there are so many house plans for sale online in different parts of the world, it is difficult to police the theft. Home developers have limited resources to check to see if you are truthful or not, most have adopted the "no return" policy.

5. Will I need to have my house plan reviewed by a local architect? House plans sold through the online brokers are needed to be consistent with the 2006 IRC minimum, but some parts of the country require additions special plan that is specific to this area. It is best to check with your local building official before buying a house plan.

6. Do you have references I can speak with? Most designers of home plan will not be a problem by giving you the names of former clients, and if they do, to reconsider using them!

7. What is your timeline for completing my house plan? If you are hiring a designer house plan to design a custom home or modify an existing house stock plan, ask in advance how much time there will be no surprises later. Many home designers who sell their house online plans are a "desk man" and may require more time to complete the work.

8. Do you have pictures of house plan I like? Many times the designer house plan will be pictures of a plan of actions that have already been built, so it's always good to ask.

9. Who owns my house plan when it is completed and paid for? The original designer owns the copyright of your house plan, even if you have made changes to a plan of stock.

What are your payment terms? Some designers plan of the house, it will deposit up front to start the project, and it's always a good idea to know in advance how payment will be processed.
