when building a house, which is better
foundation block
or a foundation poured?

I prefer a foundation poured since she's strong and reinforced with rebar. There are no lines of mortar to crack and to eliminate a potential weak spot right now. On the other hand, if you need to put a hole in the foundation wall, it is relatively easy to drill through the block, but more a chore for drilling in concrete frame with solid steel.
