wood floor cleaner home than oil cuts? I've been using Murphy's oil soap to clean my wood floor during months now, and my wood floor always has that oily residue on them, which shows the footprint and with dogs and children, always looks terrible. Is there a wood cleaner house that I could use that would cut some of the oil? I have my shiny floor footprint, less return. I read a little vinegar line, it works? Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Do not use vinegar, it is an acid and will take the finish off your floor! And for the note at DONT want to be uneducated misinformed environmentalists. The fact is that it is not a household cleaner that is still close to toxic like vinegar, so I suggest you go buy a product designed for cleaning wood floors. And have a good day:)
vinegar and water cuts definitely oil, but I can not guarantee that it will put a shine, unless they are finished with a shiny surface. After washing the vinegar, rinse with clear water and dry.
