heater works igniter sparks but will not turn, it seems that there is no gas I checked the gas supply to gas flows through the gas valve, but not sure it ' is making it to multiple burners in what could be causing this

more than likely that the gas does not pass the tip to the pilot light when the igniter spark. There may be one or two things at the root of this problem! Perhaps web driver if its been a while, the gas valve button is OFF, the gas valve evil, etc. .. You are the best solution if it is no simple solution is to use a technique for repair. Its not bother to jump on! Good luck!
