Glasslock

I cover glasslock new game, but I run them in the dishwasher, and the seal seems to pick up some of the odors there. How do I remove? I really wish they had a notch in the lid so I can just easily remove the seals and wash each time. Ideas?

Fill a large basin with warm water and add baking soda, making sure it is dissolved. Then just dip the lid is in there for some time. To do this, often to keep them fresh.
