Glass Food Containers

Glass Food ContainersI have food containers made of glass, but their plastic lids are stained with sauce. How can I clean them?

I bought glass food containers from Crate & Barrel, plastic lids. After the pasta and sauce store in them, and wash them, white covers are soiled. Is it possible to clean them to make them white again?

It is for containers, but perhaps this will help .....

If you stored a tomato product, such as pulp in a plastic container, chances are your Tupperware is stained. If you heated the pasta in the microwave using the same container, chances are your plasticware is stained permanantly. Washing the dishes to help, but your container can be stained beyond repair. To avoid this, spray your bowls or containers with a stick without cooking spray before each use to keep your plastic containers stained more sauces. In red, do not put a tomato product in microwave wave, if using a plastic container. Because the plastic is so porous, tomatoes are incorporated into the pores. If a container is already stained, you should get a little creative when washing the dishes. Your first option is to fill the bowl with hot water and drop in a couple of denture tablets. Leave for a couple of hours and when you return the spots, we hope to be deleted. You can also try soaking the containers in one part bleach to two parts water. Be sure to give bowls a thorough rinse, maybe even a run through in the microwave before using it again.

It is a product you can find on the island of dish soap to Wal Mart.It occasional plastic 's name and I think it's done by Cascade.I used when my plastics were stained by tomato products and worked. It will also deodorize.

Often, the task is embedded in the plastic. It is almost impossible to make them clean again. I tried all the usual fixes, and then just accept the fact that they are clean, despite being a bit stained.

Put them in the sun for several hours. It is obvious that this technique works much better during the summer months.

That's how I keep my cutting board white - 2 hours in a hot July sun makes' em white.

Just remove the baking soda (not baking powder). Wet the lid, sprinkle on a lot, and rub with a paper towel or damp cloth dish. He leaves most tomato stains from any other plastic.

baking soda and vinegar is a natural and ecologically clean and disinfect things

u can clean them by soaking them in urine.
