Research proposal, problem, hypothesis, help! >. <? Hello guys, it's annoying. We have our research I (basic research) in the class, and we're a difficult time. Where is he in this activity, we must make a null hypothesis and alternative causal hypothesis of a research problem. And 36 students, six students earned a score and the rest received a score of 0. Our teacher always says that it should be measurable (SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time limited). I do not know why I'm wrong, but can someone help me.
Can someone reiterate my proposal?
The effective formula in which vinegar is the main ingredient of a killer Home Made cons weeds.
-The teacher response: "This is not specific enough, when I read this proposal, I thought you were going to test different formulas in which there is vinegar mixed with different concentrations of other ingredients.
"My goal for the search: Home Made herbicides are really great and full of resources. But many people have tried to make their own home in Weed, but are not effective enough and sometimes too efficient. So my goal of this research is to find the right formula involving the vinegar with different substances to make the home more efficient by weeding.
Can someone give me a good research problem for the above proposal? I did one and my teacher said it's wrong. Here's what I did.
-What is the effectiveness of the herbicide in terms of home:
a. area occupied by weeds
b. pH level of soil
C. temperature on request
When I used that, of course, my assumptions are also wrong because the problem I have is
1.) Do not answer the issue
2.) This is not measurable
So, please? Help me, my classmates and I did this for the last 3 months and we still do not get. (
Here's the deal: your teacher will almost always right.
In this case, it is, your proposal is not specific to anything.
This is the problem:
(1) you need a systematic way to address one or more defined variables in a problem, you let it all clear.
(2) you need a reference scenario, you test your database, then change the settings to tell the recipe and review the changes, what is your basic package?
That should be enough to put you on your way. I can not re-write your proposal, as it is quite vague and it would mean I would be assuming that / which is an experience that suits you, and it is your job.
Also, please stop saying "where" you overuse, and if it is sometimes appropriate, it may seem horribly annoying if you use it in the wrong context.
What is your target? (This can be quantified, how can you be?)
What does weed kill? (This can be quantified)
What does "primary" mean exactly?
This does not mean effective formula?
Formula average chemical composition, you confuse things, the merger has nothing to do with the formula, unless you try to find a suitable formula. In addition, the formula implies that you understand enough about chemistry to discern what "formula" is present.
For example, you have a herbicide when you combine water, vinegar (which has water in it), and I do not know ... KCN for whatever reason. What is your "formula"?
Suppose that the vinegar has a chemical formula of CH3CO2H, water is H20 obviously, and KCN is KCN. Your "formula" is not CH3CO2HH20KCN ... get what I mean? To know the actual chemical formula would be, you ought to take, have a basic knowledge of organic chemistry, or at least consult a classmate who did it.
Your language is not accurate at all, work on more. Can you see W.
