Has anyone used floralytes submersible acolytes leds in your wedding centerpieces? I tried using floralytes violet in a glass vase with fresh water pearls and water but I'm not sure if they would last the entire six hours of my marriage. Has anyone had experience with them? Also, how are those you have purchased and what site or store did you buy them?
Thank you!
I used the same effect in my centerpieces and they lasted all the time and then after the fact (the friends who won kept using them). Depending on the size of the vase, you can use more than one to get a better effect (used 2 cup bubble every 8 'and 4 in the "12"). If you use the beads of water trying to drain as much water as possible or it looks a little swampy as it is shit in the water. Only problem with this type of piece is that you have to do at the last second possible (turning on the light, rearranging things in the vase after), but I had some friends run a hand. I do water beads on the eve (as they need at least 6-8 hours to swell) and the organization of the entire morning of my desk (but it is a party after a wedding destination, and a bit more time to myself)
For submersible floralytes I went to http://www.save-on-crafts.com/floralight ...
but for water pearls I found this site that you can buy them in bulk (believe me, you'll need a little). I Got 5 among them and that was enough to fill 15 August vases bubble "and 5 12 vases bubble". I used a cooler with a drain on him to fill them as there were so many people!
