How do you clean a shower curtain liner? I have a vinyl shower curtain opaque line. It has magnets to stick to the tank so that water escaping. Along the third lower the curtain, she has reddish deposits that are not simply delete. I was wondering how to clean without having to buy special cleaners. I do not think it is machine washable as it is plastic and it would probably wrinkle up or rip. Any other suggestion to buy a new one now?
what you can do is to wash the washing machine with warm water with detergent and a large bath towels (or even the bath mat). hang back immediately, so it wrinkles, but if you gently, it will work very well. More ... if there is a hem on the bottom of the curtain, cut, which keeps the water and all the minerals it accumulates on the bottom of the curtain.
Put him in the washing machine with two thick towels with regular detergent, do not put it in the dryer;
When the wash cycle is hang and let drip into the shower, it will help if you can put the bleach when you wash with it, so white towels the better.
The towels help wash by rubbing against the skin. so just to wash the liner alone usually not clean. Or you can also take down and put it in the bathtub and spray with bleach and let stand overnight.
Bleach will do the fragile vinyl, I would avoid it. Deposits red sounds like you have hard water. I would try CLR, or BAM! (From the dollar store). If these works are not, use a solution of vinegar and tea tree oil (from health store). This will help to loosen the deposit so you can rub off.
To keep it once you clean, spray with a tile and a bath every day cleaner. This creates a surface that minerals are struggling to settle on.
Spray the bleach and let sit for a while.
I usually buy the liners dollar store just so I can cheaply replace them.
Put it in the bathtub and bleach I suppose
