Eliminate odors in commercial space? I will be moving to the floor of a bar-restaurant and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good way to eliminate the smell of smoke and food space below, without hide with a smell of others. I was there must be some kind of air purifier or neutralize that could be used which are not very expensive which would help keep the smell of a bar up through the floor every day. I saw this http://www.myodorcontrol.com site that talks about something crazy invented by NASA, but there are a million other things that come on a google search and I'd be very interested to hear if anyone one else has found any similar problems in the past.
The smell is the least of your worries if you plan to sleep!
The best thing to do is find another place to live where you can get a little peace and quiet!
Besides your chances of being in a fire are increased 100 times if you live above a bar / resturaunt!
Baking soda is a cleaner smell GREAT, try it.
However, to cover a large commercial space, I'm not sure.
Rent an ozone machine from your local tool rental company. Let it run for 24 hours without opening an apartment. But be careful, read the warnings on the machine. You can not go there while it is running. This will remove all oder walls, floor, etc. Once all the smell is gone, then you need to decide which air purifier that you want to take oder free. The best are very expensive. There is a charcoal filter, you can get cheap enough that goes into the cold air return on your furnace. Works fine, but only when the camera is running. Open windows whenever possible.
