How to get auto glass mirrors and super clean, clear, and without a trace? When I wash my car, what is the best way to get glass and mirrors streak-free and super clean - both inside and outside? Windex, when you use a little or a lot, seems worse. I would like to hear suggestions from anyone, even house recipes, perhaps with vinegar? Thank you!
Outside, I use a chamois.
For indoor ... I just use Windex regularly and paper towels. I had a problem Bever. Vinegar will work ... but then your car smells like vinegar. ;-)
Find microfiber cloth, they are fantastic. All you need is plain water, if you watch QVC channel they show.
Windex and daily work very good.
Vinegar and water with newspaper!
I mix a little vinegar (2 tablespoons) and a drop (a drop) of dishwashing liquid to one gallon of water. Use a soft cloth wring out and wipe the window. Use crumpled newspaper to dry. You may want to wear rubber gloves too, the oil from your skin is the worst for the smears and streaks. I found that you need just the bottom of soap and detergent and rinse them once or twice a year, so just a little cleaning to keep spotless.
invisible glass
It is a glass cleaner made specifically for the automotive glass and mirrors.
It works very well.
Never apply what you are cleaning with a towel and spray on him window.Take and dry, then turn on the dry side for finish. This is how they do it at the car wash.
