Do you think cheap laundry detergent works as well as the expensive stuff? I only buy laundry detergent when it is sold. I'm like this about grocery too. I bought 4 jars for $ 2.10 Purex and thought maybe the reason its so cheap because it does not clean up oil and dirt on my clothes very well. What do you think? Should I go ahead and buy oil for $ 6.00 a jar?
I used to use only the tides. But he has so expens Istarted using the controls on sale, same thing with frabic softener, I use store brand or what is on sale. I am an RN and get all sorts of things on my clothes, I have a granddaughter age 7 who lives with me and I really have not noticed differeence the cheap stuff in the tide. Unless of course money. "
Well, you can not beat the price of my laundry soap. I agree with a bar of soap, 1 / 2 c. soda, 1 / 2 c. borax and water (can be found online recipe comes to search). I bought a box of baking soda and borax a box last year (less than $ 2 each) and I'm still making revenue off of him. It cost me about 75 cents to make a lot of detergent that lasts several months. And it smells good and cleans perfectly! Cannot beat that with a stick!
This is what I do ... I use Tide, Purex, All (all available for sale including coupons) and pre-soaked clothes. I use SHOUT / CLOROX to treat stains
I use Tide, and since gas prices were so high, I started cutting brands Stuff and cheap, and it made me break out in a rash, so I went back to the tide, but I'm sure it's just me and it must be adapted to others.
I used Purex for years, but the entire oil should be treated spot before washing. I use Chlorox up cleaning stubborn stains and work in the fabric well with an old toothbrush works well Lestiol on oil stains, treat the same areas, he worked with a brush toothbrush ...
I think the best stuff is just as good as your clothes are not real dirty, (as a mechanic or construction worker). I usually fill the washer and put in the soap, and clothing and let the machine agitate for a few minutes, then open the lid and let the clothes soak for 30 minutes. I had no problem ..... Same thing with fabric softener, I use the cheap things ..
No, you have done things I buy on sale and I buy laundry soap cheap and it is my clean clothes. I think it is a waste of money to buy such expensive things.
I use cheap things and I think my clothes are proving just as clean as when I use the expensive stuff. However, I noticed that the detergent expensive, especially Tide is more foam than the cheaper brands. I do not think excess suds make a big difference, however.
Purex is a great cleanser. If you are concerned about how your detergent to work, you can add some 20 Mule Team Borax as directed. It is a reminder of laundry (and has many uses other than laundry) that will make even the cheapest detergents clean as soap manufacturers.
some things do not cost a great job either! If you really would do me dirty clothes soak for about half hour .... also add a little bleach can help you
