Has anyone ever changed a dark grout grout a lighter? Trying to give my bathroom an uprising. Wanting to change the basis of advice should they match the molding around the cabinet and the door of the bathroom? Do you think the towel ceramic corresponding to the toilet paper holder is antique? And one more thing, can be cut from a mirror?
No, and yes
I changed the color of grout before and when I'm done, I wanted, I would have left the same. There is much work to do it right. You must remove at least half the sauce now by whatever means you feel comfortable. You can use a grout saw, a hand held tool that is coated carbide grain you "thought" to the former. You can also use a grout tool on a Dremel. This method is faster, but is more of a mess, and is easier to damage the tile. The style of baseboard that you use is yours. But keep in mind the resale value. It's a good idea to keep the same style. same style does not always mean it has the exact same profile. Personally, I do not think the towel antique look. While the mirror has no beveled edges, it can be cut. But mirrors are not that expensive to replace.
I painted my grout with a small brush.Took few hours, but the results were fantastic and lasted over 3 years with cleaning 2 times week.Yes mirror can be cut with the right tools and each of their own molding / trim. Some match the doors, but many have not.
