Is it possible to be allergic to Microspray automatic air freshener? I recently developed allergies, but I noticed that my allergy symptoms seems to occur only at home. The only novelty that I bought recently is the automatic air freshener. Is it possible that I might be allergic to the spray / perfume?
Scent: clean laundry
It is, of course! Perhaps you are allergic to a chemical (a preservative or something) in air purifiers and not so much the smell. I recommend you put the cooler air for several days and see if your symptoms improve or leave.
There are people who develop chemical bronchitis. Chemical bronchitis, is the result of bronchial irritation caused by cigarette smoke, various kinds of dust, harmful fumes from cleaners, solvents, chlorine, sulfur, ammonia, etc.
~ Good Luck
Yep it is. I have a very bad cough for air freshener. There was a clearing a raspberry (where you turn a certain way and it opens more). Well, he gave me a cough and sore throat, and once I got rid of him, he went.
